Hello Zazen Fans!
As some of you may know, I recently visited Italy for 9 days with my family. While it was not a relaxing vacation, I had an AMAZING time getting lost in the romance of Venice, learning to cook Italian food in Florence, experiencing the grand architecture and art in Rome, strolling through the lively streets of Sorrento and enjoying the beautiful view of the Bay of Naples on a boat ride to the Island of Capri. I want to share a glimpse of my trip to Italy. Enjoy!
Can’t go to Italy w/o getting my nails done. And I had to get the Italian flag on my nails!
Charming island of Burano, known for lacemaking and lace shops.
Took a cooking class in Florence. The Chef told me I made the best pizza! (My eye is messed up looking due to a bug bite on my eyelid!)
The best gelato was in Florence. Delizioso!
St.Peter’s Basilica in Rome was so grand. Such amazing detail to the statues and artwork inside and outside of the building.
Goofing around at the Arch of Constantine
The ruins of the Colosseum.
Enjoyed a spectacular view of the Bay of Naples in Sorrento. Such a chill and relaxing city.
Besides spending quality time with my family, the highlight of my trip was this tiramisu dessert from Venice. Tried tiramisu in each city in Italy and none was as good as this one. It was so heavenly!!!
Although I had an awesome time in Italy, I am so happy to be back home! I have been thinking about Pumpkin Spice Latte and a Pumpkin Spice Pedicure all day! Can’t wait to go back to work!
