One of the biggest questions I get with Microblading is “What’s the difference between Microblading and a regular eyebrow tattoo? “
The answer is with Microblading the ink is NOT placed deep in the skin vs a regular tattoo, therefore, it will not be permanent like a regular tattoo.
The natural looking hair strokes will last 12-18 months on your brow vs permanent with a regular Eyebrow Tattoo.
Also, the beauty of Microblading is that it will look very natural to your eyebrow vs. how an Eyebrow Tattoo would look.
Microblading artists hand draw each line. Eyebrow tattooing uses a machine. This makes a big difference.
This new service features very fine lines and when applied by a skilled artist, those lines do not “bleed out” over time. Not true of traditional eyebrow tattooing.
Eyebrow tattooing is usually done by a machine, with much greater injury to the skin. The lines created are not as fine and over time begin to bleed out.
If you’ve ever seen someone tattoo handwriting on their skin, only to see the writing get thicker over the years, then you know the effect.
